Well, isn't that the thing that all the ex-communist conutries suffer from? Everybody wants to be westernized now.

Thant's the same mistake we made after the fall of Ottoman empire. Everything Turkish was destroyed to make place for new, European Belgrade as it is today, which doesn't sound that bad when you see how it looked before. But having in mind that Belgrade had 273 Islamic religious objects, of which 80 mosques and that today only one is remaining... Soundas nasty.

But we are making the same mistake today wiping out our communist history which maybe was bad for some things, but it wasn't all that bad. And later, we will regret it, but it will be too late.

I live in Belgrade and I'm the local one. With IBikeBelgrade tour that Zlatko provided to me and rest of our group I can say that I saw Belgrade in totally different angle and I really loved it.

I enjoyed whole 3 hours and I can strongly recommend this tour to all, either they are locals who live in Belgrade or tourists.

Recently Homa Restaurant has opened in Belgrade. You can eat unusual food like "Grilled goat from mountain Rudnik on aromatic crostines and salad" , Grilled pork fillet in carne asada marinade, melted cheese, fried corn... My suggestion to visit this place

I do not think e-mails are the best way in Belgrade to ask people to share their opinion. Many senior citizens do not use internet, and many others (like myself) didn' t hear about the possibility to ' vote' . Approaching people on the street for a week and ask for their opinion would have been more effective. Anyway, the positive side of the story is that there was a possibility to let your voice be heard through e-mail!

Did you notice that fancy shiny shit can is placed on the middle of the pavement devoted to blind people...At least it is smaller then icecream fridge (it can be seen as well) but will definitely make unpleasant surprise to a blind person trying to walk using designated part of pavement...shit will never end in serbia....
