Why should I take a tour with iBikeBelgrade?

What is the price of the tour?
The tour is one of the cheapest bike tours in Europe: € 17 per person. Special discounts are available for groups of 20 or more. Ask for arrangements by sending an e-mail to info@ibikebelgrade.com.  The price includes the bike-rental, a tour-guide, and on the Riverside Tour a boat-ride and one drink on the way. On the eBike Tour it includes rent of an eBike, a tourguide and one drink and the price € 25 per person.

Where and when does the tour start?

During the season (May - October) the Riverside and City Center Tours start at the meeting-point in the centre of Belgrade at the end of the main shopping street Kneza Mihaila and the entrance of the Kalemegdan Park.  Click here for a map of the meeting point. The eBike Tour starts at the parking at sportcentre 25th of May.

 

Do I have to be in good physical condition to join the tour?

No, anyone who ever rode a bike can join the tour. With the Riverside Afternoon Tour we will cycle in an easy going manner without climbing any hills. Half way we will take a break to relax and recharge for the second part of the tour.

 

The City Centre Morning Tour includes one hill and is only suitable for those who are used to cycling. as we go through the centre of belgrade, there ican be quite some traffic. We will use the safest ways to go through town, by making use of the many parks in Belgrade. Also, your guide will watch over your safety as much as possible!

Does the tour continue when it rains?
Yes, the tours are on offer every day, no matter what the weather is like. The Belgrade summerrains are usually light and refreshing showers.

 

How long is the tour?
The Riverside Afternoon Tour is  30 km long and takes about 3,5 - 4 hours, including stops. The City Center Morning Tour is about 15 km long and takes about 3 hours. The eBike Tour lasts between 3 and 4 hours. 

 

Can I book a tour in advance?

During the season (May - October) there is no need to book in advance, because every day of the week the Riverside Afternoon tour leaves at 14.00 hrs from the meetingpoint.  The City Centre Morning Tour leaves at 11.00 hrs on Saturdays and Sundays.  If you are planning to come with a group you can always call beforehand to +381  66 900 8386 or send an e-mail to info@ibikebelgrade.com.  If you want to take a special and/or a group tour you can find more information here.

Can I rent a bicycle without taking the tour?
Yes, you can! You can rent bikes with our good friends of Marconi bikes at the 25 May Sports Centre. If you can't find it yourself, we will take you there if you come to the meetingpoint at 14.00. However, we suggest you first take a tour with iBikeBelgrade, so you know where to go once you rent a bike yourself.

 

Do you offer tours in Serbian language?

Da! Because of a growing demand for tours in Serbian language, we have started tours in Serbian in 2014, in cooperation with the Museum of Yugoslav History. Not only the language is different, but also the content of the tour is custom-made for people who live or have lived in the Balkan region and speak Serbian / Croatian / Bosnian. 

 

Can I work at iBikeBelgrade?
Yes, you can! You can apply for a job with iBikeBelgrade only if you are very nice and friendly, you love Belgrade, you are willing to show others how great Belgrade is, and your English is good. Can you recommend other ways to discover Belgrade?
Yes, we can! The best way to learn about the famous nightlife of Belgrade is by visiting the Belgrade Nightlife Academy. They don't offer a boring pub-crawl, but show you the diversity of Belgrade's nightlife, the history and culture of the traditional kafana's or take you underground. Whatever you like! Who is responsible for my safety during the tour?

 You are! Although our guides try to get you through Belgrade it the safest way possible by using the best routes and bicycle-paths where ever possible, you are the one that is responsible for your own safety. You are therefore also responsible to check your bicycle before starting the tour to see if everything works and if you feel safe on it. All information can be found in our disclaimer.
